JPR has a new position for a Landscape Architect to work in either the Fort Wayne, office or the South Bend, Indiana office.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture and be on the path to professional licensure. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with 1-5 years (this might include internships).
Other requirements include:
- Ability to work in team environment while actively promoting collaborative and innovative culture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D desired)
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, graphics software preferred Sketchup, GIS
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Designs and manages landscape architecture projects
- Confers and collaborates with clients, engineers, architects or other disciplines on wide variety of planning and design projects
- Develops, modifies and reviews drawings for projects
- Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm-wide design excellence and problem solving
- Demonstrates understanding of the relationship between design and constructability
- Participates in managing client relationship
- A strong focus on the quality of deliverables to allow for best possible outcomes for our clients
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines
- Ability to proactively pursue new business opportunities, prepare proposals and otherwise promote the firms' services
- Assists in preparation of proposals and participates in public presentations
