Starke County Bridge No. 7 Replacement

JPR led the replacement of Bridge No. 7 at CR 1200 E over Yellow River. Funded by Starke County and Federal Aid, the project tackled safety concerns with the old bridge. Facing delays, our team worked efficiently to meet deadlines. We secured INDOT time extensions for comprehensive design completion. Bartlett Street Reconstruction

Commissioned by the City of South Bend Board of Public Works, JPR led the development of the Bartlett Street Roundabout and Reconstruction project, a key initiative in the citywide two-way street conversion plan. With diverse stakeholders, including Memorial Hospital and INDOT, JPR navigated coordination challenges during the Design Development Phase. The project, split into two phases, involved realigning Bartlett Street, redesigning the hospital entrance, and constructing a two-lane roundabout at Bartlett and Michigan Street. The meticulous design considered traffic flow, pedestrian access, and aesthetic enhancements, setting a standard for future downtown projects.

South Link Road (Waterford Mills Parkway)

Engaged by Goshen, JPR leads the second phase of a high-volume route (FHWA/LPA funded) to ease CBD congestion. Building on the first phase's success, JPR's plan includes Traffic Impact Analysis, road and signal design. Sub-consultants manage bridge design, geotechnical investigation, and environmental documentation. The project reconstructs SR 15, adding a turn lane, sidewalk, storm sewer to a retention pond, and extending the bridge for potential future tracks. Waterford Mills Parkway envisions a four-lane road, strategically addressing congestion and preparing for Goshen's future growth.
