As part of the Elkhart Master District, JPR was engaged by multiple key stakeholders including the City of Elkhart, Beacon Health Care, and Elkhart Community Schools, to develop a Sports Facility Master Plan.
The proposed development included a 155,000-square-foot health center featuring multiple gymnasiums, medical and physical therapy facilities, childcare, exercise rooms, community center space, a state-of-the-art aquatics center, along with an outdoor walking path, performance stage, and exterior plazas. The development also had proximity to, and beautiful views of, the Elkhart River. In addition, the Master Plan included an Ice Sports Facility and surrounding mixed-use development.
