JPR designed a custom Burger King restaurant in Temple Terrace, FL. The location of the new facility required design changes to the corporate prototype to comply with local community redevelopment architectural guidelines. Changes were applied to building height, glazing, colors, canopies, and interior ceiling heights to achieve a Mediterranean Revival design aesthetic.
The interior of the restaurant was also approached in an upscale manner. The dining areas had ceilings from 12 to 14 feet high, some with curved wood grained panels, and the flooring consisted of designer wood grain ceramic tiles.
The required departure from the more typical prototypes makes visiting this Burger King a truly unique experience.
